IDL 1051 - Materials and Processes (M&P)

This course is intended to introduce NDT technicians to the engineering materials, material processes, codes and standards typically used in the NDT industry. Mechanical testing, heat treatment, welding metallurgy, casting and forging principals will be discussed. Students will be introduced to codes and standards, and their particular application to the NDT industry. This informative course is designed for use by personnel involved in design, use or evaluation of Nondestructive Testing applications in QC, manufacturing, maintenance and construction industries.
